Just as time influences us humans, the sun and its course influences all of nature. Solaris, this archaic cycle of the solar year determines the rhythm of life, the growth of barley, oaks, wine, the climate and thus our direct perception of nature.

ORMA pays tribute to this astronomical event of the summer solstice and winter solstice by bottling 216 and 212 bottles of ORMA Solaris Edition on 21 June and 21 December respectively.

The longest day is reflected in an ORMA creation that has matured in white wine barrels in the Valley of Light, Val Lumnezia. The longest night is symbolised by the single malt that matured in the dark earth cellar in Passugg in a red wine cask.

The ORMA Solaris Edition unites these events in an amalgamation of these CASKS for a select circle.
