The “VADRET” edition is a single malt that is bottled annually during the Diavolezza downhill race. From summer 2024, the “VADRET” edition will also be matured at the Diavolezza mountain station at 2978 metres above sea level. This whisky is not only a tribute to the glorious days of the glacier race, but also a tribute to the tradition and thrill that this unique race brought with it. The 70cl bottle at 44% vol. is available for CHF 175.00. For every bottle of whisky sold, we donate CHF 25.00 to glacier conservation projects. In this way, you are not only contributing to an exquisite enjoyment, but also joining us in supporting the preservation of nature and the conservation of our unique mountain landscape.
The historic glacier race took place for the first time in 1930 and now, 94 years later, we are witnessing the rebirth of this legendary race.
