ORMA Berna Edition

The “BERNA” whisky was stored in the heart of the world heritage site of Bern’s old town. Near the Zytglogge under the arcades in Gerechtigkeitsgasse. In the vaulted cellar of the oldest dated town house, the Nägelihaus, built in 1531 by Bern’s Schultheiss Hans Franz Nägeli. Hans Franz Nägeli was born in Aigle in 1497 and liberated Vaud from the Savoy in 1536 as Bernese field captain.

The “BERNA” edition matures in ex-bourbon casks and Pinot Noir barriques – a fusion of two worlds. A lovely whisky with a fine vanilla finish.

We have filled 303 bottles of 70cl each with 44% vol.
