ORMA Gin 3303

For our 1-year anniversary as the highest whisky distillery in the world, we decided to distil a gin and thus also break the record for the highest distilled gin. The first batch was sold out after only a few weeks and the feedback was so incredible that we came up with the idea of maturing the gin in barrels. Our experiments finally led us to the idea of using a rosé sparkling wine barrel. Rosé sparkling wine (aka champagne) barrel? That’s right, a barrique barrel made of French oak, where rosé sparkling wine from Martin Donatsch from Malans made a barrel fermentation and matured. And this dry gin is also distilled at 3303 metres above sea level. In addition to the rosé sparkling wine cask, the altitude and thus the over 10°C lower boiling point also have a significant influence on the taste.

This unique Rosé Cask Aged Dry Gin is now available in the limited edition of 480 bottles of 70cl each with 44% vol.
