In 2010, we distilled our first barrels with great anticipation.
And to mark the start of our 10th anniversary in 2020 and the reopening of our distillery on Corvatsch, we presented the first ORMA X Edition.
The “X” stands for the Roman numeral ten and characterises the bottle of the new edition – simple, yet dominant.

The 10-year-old single malt matured in a 500-litre Pinot Noir barrel made from French oak with a finish in 40-year-old Canadian maple syrup barrels made from American oak.
This Swiss-Canadian fusion was inspired by the “FAMILY CASK” Edition 2023, which was incredibly well received and brought out very special flavours. In addition to the typical cocoa, coffee and dried fruit flavours, we find intense notes of pecan and Brazil nuts with a pleasantly sweet finish.
