ORMA Corvatsch Edition

In keeping with the Corvatsch Edition tradition, every year on 8 August a pre-matured cask is ceremoniously brought up to the summit by 8 friends, stored and then the matured cask is brought down to the valley for bottling the 303 bottles. On 8 August 2018, the idea was born to create the distillery at 3303 metres above sea level.

This ORMA whisky creation is matured in a grotto at 3303 metres above sea level on Corvatsch near St. Moritz in the Engadin. Only red and white port wine barrels from Martin Donatsch in Malans are used for the maturation process. We use the solera method.
