ORMA Corvatsch Edition

In keeping with the Corvatsch Edition tradition, every year on 8 August, 8 friends ceremoniously bring a pre-matured cask to the top, store it and then bring the mature cask down to the valley for the bottling of the 303 bottles.

This ORMA whisky creation matures in a grotto at 3303 metres above sea level on the Corvatsch near St. Moritz in the Engadin. Only red and white port wine barrels from Martin Donatsch in Malans are used for the maturation process. We use the solera method.
